A NEW LIQUID MOLDING / RTM VALVE SYSTEM FOR THE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY
Our Valve Can Dramatically Reduce The Lengthy Cycle Time Associated With The Resin Transfer Mold Process.
ADVANTAGES:
The valve system contains four main body parts: Injection Nozzle, Valve Body, Sprue and Injection Bushing. Once the sprue has been incorporated into the RTM mold and the injection nozzle is fit into the resin delivery system, the molding process may begin.
Initially, the nozzle is inserted into the valve body via a quarter turn quick connect system. Upon insertion, the unique Teflon packed coining slide allows resin to pass through the valve to the mold runners. Once the mold has filled, the RTM valve is closed and the mold may cure. When the resin has solidified the valve slide is reopened and the ejection bushing is inserted. The cured resin may then be knocked out through the sprue which has a micro-finished taper to aid the release of the cured resin.
| SPRUE - Designed with a micro-finished taper to facilitate the release of the cured resin. | |
| VALVE BODY - Engineered with a unique Teflon packed coining slide, that regulates the resin flow. | |
| INJECTION NOZZLE - Inserted into the valve body via a 1/4 turn quick-connect system, it delivers resin into the mold. | |
| EJECTION BUSHING - Inserted into the valve body, the ejection bushing displaces the cured resin quickly & easily. |
